崧智科技成立於 1992 年，是由一群資深的研發人員所成立的公司。由於對網路產品的前景看好，因此集資成立了崧智科技，以自有的技術開發產品，進行銷售。在1995年，曾經以網管型集線器獲得經濟部的中小企業創新獎。
而後因應市場需求，自行於湖口建廠，成立生產線，以提升產能，並掌握品質。但在2000年時，經歷了產業的不景氣與外移潮，大家紛紛把工廠移到大陸，以提升規模、降低成本。但是我們選擇了產品轉型，轉做高附加價值的產品與精緻的生產規模。於是放棄了許多低價值但量大的產品，例如：網路卡、集線器、低階交換器等等，轉而開發軟體附加價值較高的網管型交換器，以產品軟體上的差異化與優質的技術服務，提升公司與產品的價值。
崧智科技期望做一個小而美、技術優質的公司，能夠提供差異化的產品與服務，塑造一個人性而愉悅的工作環境。目前我們仍然維持產品在台灣的自有生產能力，根留台灣，以好的品質來贏得客戶的肯定。

公司營運狀況方面，我們曾經有兩、三年良好的獲利。但在產品轉型的那兩年，公司也經歷了嚴重的虧損，但在今年已經有了幾個月的單月獲利，預期後續營運狀況會日益改善。目前主要市場在日本、韓國、歐洲，客戶對象主要為網路系統廠商。產品的穩定性相當獲得客戶的肯定，公司也以追求永續經營的理念，逐步成長。
而在研發能量方面，目前研發人員約佔公司人力的15%(含生產線人員)，研發人員一直是崧智科技的核心人員，也是我們的核心能力，更是公司永續經營的根基，我們期望能持續提升，以維持公司的競爭力。

CeLAN was established in 1992 by a group of experienced R&D engineers. Because of the good foreground of network products, we raised capital to establish CeLAN - creating products and sell them by ourselves. At 1995, CeLAN won the New Technology Award from Economy Department with the Intelligent Hub products.
Responding to market development, we set up the factory in Hsinchu to increase the manufacture capacity and good quality. But at Year 2000, experienced the recession of industry, everyone moved factories to the Mainland China to increase the production scale and reduce cost. But we selected product transformation, turning to do high value added products with fine production. And give up many low value but just big quantity products - like Network Card, dumb hub, dumb switch etc., turn and develop software embedded Intelligent Switch. Creating the value of products and company by the diverseness of products and better service.

About the company operation, we once got good profit in 2~3 years about five years ago. Because of the product transformation in those two years, the company also experienced serious loss. But we had already gotten profit in several months this year. And the operation condition will improve increasingly. The main market is in Japan, Korea, and European. And most of the customers are system integrators. Customers confirm the stability of our products. CeLAN expect to run it as long-term business and we expect to grow up gradually with these good abilities. .
About the R&D capacity, we have about 15% manpower for RD (including manpower for production). And those R&D manpower are always the core member and ability of CeLAN. They are also the groundwork for the everlasting of the company. We expect to increase it to maintain the competition ability of company.
